FWD to RWD 4L60e

I know its not a v8 but the v6 section is dead. i know the v6 and v8 are the same - the bolt pattern.
I am putting a L67 from a 98 Regal GS. Into my Merkur XR4Ti. Can found a good deal on a 4L60e out of a v6 2000 Camaro. They will bolt up.
1 will the wires connect together?
2 if not can i just cut wires and solder them together?
3 how do i make hp tuners know its 4L60e? i ask because other car is a 6speed and all tranny stuff is blacked out when i go to look.

looking at pics online most of the sensors look the same and have the same connectors.

1. look to see if the ecm/tcm can communicate with a 4l60e (idk)
2. connectors may look the same but probably not the same (inputs to the computers)
3. send me a email and I can send you a full ecm/tcm wiring and trans controller pin out, I need as much info as you can on the vehicle year make model engine ect ect though.... [email protected]
