    PE settings for FI

After setting my target ratio (currently 11.4:1), when should I have it kick in? The shop that gave me my "start up" tune has it kicking in at 87 kPa with 2% throttle opening enable. The current issue is that in high gear with low load (highway) the PE will kick in any time I give it just a little bit more throttle (slight incline) because I will go above 87kPa. I currently end up downshifting just to go up small inclines so that I don't just keep dumping fuel. The shop said these are typical settings. I feel that I should either have the throttle enable higher, or go to 100% throttle enable. Is that about right? And at what throttle % should I be aiming to kick in at?

depending if you have upgraded your OS, on FI you can set it to start 95kpa and 25% throttle would be very safe

Thanks. I haven't upgraded my OS, just the standard E38 stuff. I do have the 3 bar MAP to log boost though, and a wideband in the car. By 25% throttle, do you mean actual, or the reading the TPS gives? At idle my TPS reads about 12-15%, and WOT is 84%, setting the enable to 25% would enable it at about 10-15% actual throttle, correct?

I always set PE enable at about 5-10 kpa above highway cruise reading, and at about 10% above idle throttle, and I set rat to 2, and delay to 10 crank pulses. (I like throttle response. )

Thanks for the input. I haven't looked too much into the throttle settings yet. I think that might be what I try next once I get the PE set correctly. Baby steps.... I'll be happy to just get it to stop running so rich, going into PE just cruising in 6th is killing my mileage.

Why do you say if I upgraded my OS? Since I haven't, should I set it to something other than what you recommended?
