How to disable Passlock/VATS on 2005 Impala?

I am trying to disable the security on a 2005 V6 Impala and not having any luck. After switching it from "serial" to "pwm" the vehicle just starts and dies. I have never done one of these, do I also need to set codes 1626, 1630 and 1631 to "3 No error reported"?

There isn't one in Repository to look at, can you post your file?

Heres the stock file. Any hints tips or suggestions are appreciated! I don't want to get the car back until I am pretty sure of a game plan.

    99 Buick 3800 in a sand buggy

I am trying to tune a PCM for a 99 buick 3800 to put into a sand buggy. We only need the engine to run with IAT, MAF, MAP, Knock sensor, TPS, and one O2 sensor. Have tried to turn the VATS off by changing the VATS from both serial to PWM and setting the DTC 1629, 1630 and 1631 to no error reported and unchecked the SES enabled. We still can not get the engine to run. It fires and runs for a second and then shuts down. It loses signal to the injectors which is the VATS from what I have researched. Could someone help me please with this tune. I figured it would be relatively simple however it has not. I have a copy of the current stock read on the PCM and will post it later because I dont have it with me.

Make sure you are setting: ALL OF THEESE! P1626, P1629, P1630, and P1631 to "3 - NO ERROR REPORTED" as well as setting VATS to PWM. I performed a write entire (don't know whether that's necessary or not) and it worked for me.
