    Vcm scanner pids problem?

Sorry I'm pretty new for hptuner, I have a pro version, we tried to log pids for Ford Mustang 2007 v8, but it looks like I was unable to see or log most PIDs , I was able to see just a few of them like rpm ignition timing, throttle and just a few more.... It didn't see Knock retard and many other PiDs ... ((( so did I make anything wrong and need may be to turn on somehow missing ones? Or it's Vcm logger software problem?? Any salvation to make good logs??

There is not Knock retard pid as many others You see eg in SCT or GM's in HPT. Visible pids should work, but SCT or GM's in HPT has them much more.

Knock retard is a DMA/MPID meaning it has its own specific address unique to each strategy, adding them is a huge task for ford as compared to GM, but it will get tackled this year.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

So vcm scanner won't read anymore PIDs over the ones I see in the Table display, right?

You need to right click in the table display and choose to insert PID or something like that, while connected to the car. That will pull up any available PIDs.

The help file also walks you through it. A lot of good info there that may answer many of your questions.

This are even more needed than knock retard (which can be calculated self):

Desired torque (what's exact name to log in SCT?)
Delivered torque (what's exact name to log in SCT?)
    ETC manifold vacum
    Effective area by ETC
    Wheel torque error
Sum of IPC wheel torque error
    Actual airflow by ETC
    Airflow desired by ETC

Without above, there's no way to tune ETC in HPT.
