I've seen bad drive by wire throttle bodys shoot straight to 3-4 grand at start up before. Sometimes a throttle relearn fixed it other time we just replaced them.
What year is the vehicle?
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.
If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.
look under spark section of your tune. the cat light-off timing during the first 20 seconds after starting your motor.
The PCM is being told to add 10 degrees of timing; that is what is causing your problem. I doubt a stock file has
these values in it. Do you still have the EGR in your vehicle active or did you remove this?
