    Which wideband to buy

Hi everyone I'm looking for advice on the best wideband to buy to use with hp tuners I'm looking for something easy to use and set up to tune my personal car I don't tune for a living so I def don't need the most expensive or fanciest I see Greg banish recommended the ntk afx in one of his books but that was in 2007. And the sticky here is also a couple years old.....any ideas??? Thanks in advance Oh and I'm using it on a 95 lt1 with a 411 PCM and long tubes if it matters and should I use 2 , 1 in place of each narrow band for tuning accuracy ??? And if so do I need 2 complete kits ???

It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

A wise man once said "google it"

1500 for a wideband is a little excessive And all the info in that thread is old plus I keep reading all the threads and everyone has a complaint about almost every wide band out there How about that mtx-l ?? That's the most recent one in the wideband thread bill mentioned but even that post is over a year old

    NGK AFX or AEM wideband.

Both work fine and pretty good quality.

AEM's wideband sensor doesnt last aslong, but should get 20-40k outta it. They just become less acurate, but not enough to matter. I run a AEM because it was only $160.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

I run the AFM1000 as well

I have had good luck with the AFX as well.

The NGK AFX is discontinued. There are still plenty of them out there but if you have an issue with it, it is not supported. You are SOL. They are going to release a new model but there wasn't a time frame for it. I am going back to the FAST dual Unit I have. IT was decent, sending it to them to have it checked out first and then going to use it again.

NGK AFX if you can get one. They may be not supported anymore but you can still get replacement sensors from any parts store. The next best option for under $500 IMO is the Haltech/Daytona widebands. Just as accurate as my NGK AFX. I use the AFX to mainly tune with (soon updating to an ECM unit) and I have had nothing but great luck out of it. I use the Haltech/Daytona dual channel WB on my dyno and in my racecar and it is an awesome little piece. They all have free air calibration to keep it reading accurate throughout the sensors life.

Thank you for responding to both posts of mine which Daytona do u have I couldn't decide which was proper the lambada unit or the other and I can't seem to find much info on the differences besides cable length and one says motor cycle 0-5 volt analog output Which I was under the impression that they all were analog 0-5. Been waiting for Daytona to respond to my email On another note in the wideband sticky I did read a few decent reviews on the innovative which is why I decided to try it although I'm thinking of returning it now in favor the Daytona dual. Which I was originally leaning towards especially to get accurate bank to bank fueling info

I didn't get mine through Daytona and I don't even see mine on their website currently. Here is a link to the Haltech dual channel that I'm using (re-badged Daytona).

    http://www.haltech.com/product/accessories/wideband-02/

I'm not using any gauges with mine. I'm just using each 0-5v analog output logging into HPTuners to log lambda values.
