    2009 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD TCM

    Hi,
    I am in Australia and have been blessed with a good old American truck to work on.
    The transmission went into limp mode and does not shift gears.

    I have replaced the complete wiring harness for other reasons
    I have replaced the NPBU switch and internal wiring harness

    I have also just replaced the TCM

    I am looking for a standard tune file to write to the TCM to make it work again.
    Due to the lack of these trucks here our Holden dealers aren't even interested in
    giving the programming a go.

    So is it possible to just write entire a standard tune file to the TCM?
    Is there any other information I need to supply or will any 09 Silverado 6.6 Auto tune file do?

    Have you looked in the repository? There should be an 09 ally in there. and yes, full flash

    Pretty sure the late model diesels don't have the option to full flash, only write cal only. Even if you select write entire it defaults to write cal only. Just an FYI.
