OK... Noticed a lil problem with my DHP 1.0

Here is a screenshot of the DTC section of the VCM in my GTP (its a DHP 1.0)

    gtp2.jpg

It doesnt have ANY DTC's listed at all. Yeah fun and all but from the way it looks, I will NEVER know when anything goes wrong! So here is what I wanna do...

I have a STOCK tune file. Can I copy over differences from the DHP 1.0, change the VIN, license the file and then WRITE ENTIRE? Is so, is this the CORRECT order?

    Thanks!

I'd just get a new 98-00 GTP computer if was me.

Then use some stuff off the DHP and copy it over.

I'm curious as to what DHP did to their PCM back in the day before they went outta business, mind posting the file.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

    Here you go 5FDP...

And thanks Planethax, I will try that. I figured I would have to flash a stock file first. Does changing a VIN cost credits? Im new to this HPT thing and Im still searching my behind off...

    Thanks again guys!

Yes it would end up costing you additional credits to flash in a good file. Might be best to just start with new pcm depending on your situation.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

So I know that licensing the file will require 2 credits. I don't mind that. But if I change the Vin on the file BEFORE I write entire, will it cost MORE credits?

I'm not sure if you'll be able to even change the vin without the year/model license. My advice would be to contact support once you are ready to fix the pcm and let them help you through things. Make sure to refer to this link/post.

Ok so if I flash this stock file that I have, which VIN will I have? The VIN that's in the PCM (which is correct) or the one that's in the file?

vin in the pcm if I remember correctly, with v6's you need to go through the vin change procedure outlined in the help file so theres a good possibility you'll need the year/model license.
