    G8 GT maf tuning

I just installed a vararam intake and want to adjust my MAF accordingly. I'm new to tuning and I've only done some minor calibrations in the past. I've read over bluegoats guide on doing so. I'm curious about the whole VE table. He says to leave it disabled until your confident to properly adjust it. Can I simply adjust my maf and only my maf, leave the VE tables off, and keep the rest of the tune stock without any issues?

yes you can tune it in pure MAF mode, by disabling the Dynamic rpm set points I believe stock its 4000 rpm. you can set it to 300rpm and renable to 200rpm
