Crazzzzyyyy idea

i had a crazy idea the other day. i work at a chevy dealership and i was looking at the new direct injection 14' trucks.. i pulled the tune off of one just to look and see whats going on

now the crazy idea i had- take the ecu from a 14' truck with DI and convert the wiring to the lnf. maybe make a plug and play harness as i have access to all the terminal ends. and make the ecu run on the lnf.??

thoughts and suggestions would be awsome!

Youre gonna need to figure out how to bypass the security that confirms the correct ECU and BCU are in the car. Then tune a V8 ECU to a I4 engine... that would be like walking on water.

that was one of my biggest concerns was the security system.. i could essentially leave all the wires coming from the bcm to the ecm alone or extend and relocate the ecu so the bcm and ecm are still comunicating together.

the switching a v8 ecu to an i4 motor it has to be able to be done imo. but i might be shooting for the stars. i just feel like we could have more oppertunitys with the newer ecu?

you can select which bank injectors you want to use.. if you wire it up right it will only use one bank?
