I cannot connect my HP tuner to the OBDII port…
it shows an error
cannot connect to VCM
I verified continuity to the port from the BUS PCM pin out to #2 on OBDII plug
I verified it is receiving a 12 volt signal. it has power.
grounds check out ok.
radio fuse check out ok. actually placed a new one there.
HPT plug lights up showing it has power.
check it with a 12v test light and is working as well.
the car currently has a no spark condition I am trying to diagnose as well if that makes any sense. see below about what I have checked
Im at a loss….
car actually started about 3 months ago. I have not started it and now that a I want to move it to the garage it will not start nor connect to the HPtunner
I have been chasing a no spark condition on my camaro for a while.
I have done a lot of troubleshooting and everything is coming out fine
things I did
verified the PCM is grounded
verified the PCM is receiving 12 v
verified its sending a 12v signal to the fuel pump.
new ignition relay, swapped it out with another one already as well
checked the coolant temp sensor. appears intact. I took it out and inspected it as well. no codes can be read bc I cannot connect my HP runners to the car. see below for this issue……...
all grounds check out ok
battery fully charged.
coils are receiving power at the plugs on both sides
PLEASE HELP me…….
