    Innovate LC-2

I'm trying to get my Innovate LC-2 hooked up correctly. I'm trying to get the gauge they sent with the wideband to read correctly AND get the lc-2 to connect to hptuners and read the same. There are 4 wires coming from the wideband controller....red (power), white(ground), yellow(analog output 1, 0V=7.35AFR, 5V=22.39AFR), and brown (analog output 2, 1.1V=14AFR, .1V=15AFR) The gauge only reads correctly if you hook it up to the yellow wire due to the voltage it puts out. I'm more concerned about my hptuners reading the correct afr than my gauge being a little off, but I'd like for them both to be as accurate as possible.

But, if I'm reading all this right, the brown wire only reads afr from 14-15. Seems like for logging and tuning a much wider range would be needed, such as the range the yellow wire is putting out, 7.35-22.39. I'm still new to all this so if that's wrong please let me know. Anyway, the brown wire doesn't work with the gauge, as it reads incorrectly if you're not running a 0-5v input to it. So you have to run the yellow wire to the gauge, but then you're stuck with the brown wire for hptuners that doesn't have hardly any useful range for reading afr. I know that you have to adjust for offset sometimes to get the wideband to read correctly on hptuners, but the voltage ranges for the brown wire are just not making sense to me and not making sense in the spreadsheet available from the tuning school....link-http://www.thetuningschool.com/support/free-downloads/ There's also been a couple of minor typos in the manual so I'm wondering if that's what is confusing me on the voltage numbers for the brown wire. (1.1V reads 14afr, but only .1V reads 15afr? huh?)

So i'm to the point I think this stupid brown wire is useless, and my main question is if it will work correctly if I splice another wire to the yellow wire and run it to hptuners, so I'd have the yellow wire split into 2 and ran to 2 different devices (gauge and hptuners mpvipro) If not, will the brown wire work well enough to tune accurately with hptuners? What do I need to do to make it compatible? I've been making the small calculations in the excel spreadsheet by hand since I don't actually have excel and it's view-only, so that could be my problem I guess.

Or am I just SOL on having both, an accurate gauge AND hptuners reading from my wideband, and have to run the yellow wire to whichever one I want to be accurate?

I'm sure this is probably a dumb question but any advice or input is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks again!

Thanks man, didn't read past Sensor calibration as I assumed I could do the rest with hptuners and didn't need the logworks software. Much appreciated!
