I've been getting a P1516 error code lately that's throwing the car into limp mode and shutting down the engine. I was checking all of the throttle position related values to see what's going on. This is on a 2008 TBSS E67 OS.
ETC position and ETC desired position are very close. ETC pedal position isn't far off. However, ETC TPS Position 1 and 2 are way off. They max out at 39% even when the throttle is at 100%. TPS 1 shows a minimum of 0.82 instead of 0.75 V and TPS 2 shows a maximum of 4.14 volts instead of 5 (or whatever it should be).
Is this normal for the E67, or is this indicative of a TPS problem which could be causing the P1516 error code?
