Thread: Throttle Off = Rich, ID725's

    Off Throttle = Rich, ID725's

I've input all the data from ID. I have not touched transients, but am about to.

    Things I've noticed
    1) Dips richer when engine is cold
    2) Dips richer with higher initial TPS before letting off.
    3) Increase in TPS SOMETIMES seems to cause a lean spot

Should I start with the evap factor or transient fuel mass gain impact factor?
Also, whats a good starting point for scaling the values?

Scaled by half IFR doubled stoich. Running MAF only.

    Stock tune is attached.
1st tune is attached (Injector Dynamics data entered + MAF data from GXP w/ LS7 card style maf taken off repository)
Finally the current tune is attached. (MAF values significantly lower than starting point from GXP, no idle airflow changes made)

Hopefully get some good logs up tonight showing the issue.

    Here are some logs.

Dip - Goes Rich, then lean, then rich, then lean before leveling out

Dip 2 - Goes rich and levels out

Dip 3 - Goes lean, rich, then lean before leveling out

Boostin - Shows how the AFR follows the commanded into and out of boost

I also attached my .cfg file so you can see what I see.

    Appreciate the help.

Ok, so right off the bat you say you put maf values in based on a tune you found in the repository? Did you tune the maf? The values aren't going to be correct just because you put a generic curve in. Your air intake setup will affect maf calibration quite a bit.

    Also, what are your mods?

^^.....yes. the maf curve has been significantly changed. especially in the lower HZ....I did not touch the IDLE airflow values (ex. base airflow or startup)

turbo, injectors, and maf are the only parts that aren't stock.
