OS grade choices for 4.3

iv got a 4.3 in my truck and what im really looking for is to use RTT. jsut wasnt sure what OS to upgrade to (1 bar, 2 bar, etc). this is my daily driver and is still NA. iv dont have any plans for forced induction any time soon (if ever) and i still want to use MAF.

Can I ask why you want RTT? Seems like a waste to license a custom OS unless your trying to do something where the capabilities will benefit you,

If you really want to, use a a 1 bar or enhanced MAF upgrade, IIRC both can still use the MAF as long as you don't fail it out. If you ever want to boost the motor use a 2 or 3 bar OS, and buy a corresponding MAP sensor. You can run a 2 or 3 bar OS without boost with no problems.

I figured it would make tuning a little easier seeings how this is my DD and I'll probably mess with it for a while. Haven't found much discussions about the benefits and what not so I can't exactly answer why I want it. Other then it sounded like a good idea.
