    2006 LSJ Tune Verification

Can some one please look at this tune and log to verify that it is from a stock GM stage 2 file?

I pulled the tune from the PCM after I flashed it back to stock from Trifecta, but my confidence in Trifecta is low. I just want to be sure that the tune that sent me as the stock GM stage 2 tune is correct. The reason the tune file says modified is because I went and disable the VAT since the VINs currently do not match. I did do a case relearn and it took.

    Thank you.

    No one?

I am reading 116% peak duty cycle. Something doesn't seem right and I am trying to determine if it is the tune.

looks like a gms2 based on the fueling tables. i am comparing it to an 07 gms2 file and it is only off by 1 lb/hr max at some spots

gms2 runs super rich. if you dial in the maf, set pe to a higher range, like 11.5-11.8 afr, youll see the idc go down. maybe not below 100%, but that is normal

Can I change just the PE value? I am still reading about MAF tuning, fuel trims, etc.

Set the people value to the desired afr 14.69/11.5=1.277 for a pe value. Once you set that adjust your maf at wot until the desired afr is met.

fueling defenitly needs adjustment, but as for the injectors, yeah take and adjust wot fueling, after you have leaned it out a bit you shouldn't have an issue (or at least you shouldn't move so much over your injector capacity)

Okay. Awesome. I will do that then.

Should I reset the fuel trims then after I change the PE value? Or, should I wait until I tune the MAF to the new PE value? Or, just leave it alone?

Oh, makes sense. I forgot about that part of the setup.

Changed my PE table to mirror that screen shot.

now plot your wideband against your maf table and a/f error %, copy and paste, a few runs and you'll be at your desired a/f ratio

I am also going to have to play with the wideband feature more. My Autometer wideband is not recognizing parameters this site says work for it. The AFR is 1 full point different HPT vs the gauge itself so I cant tune off of it.

Also, since I cant tune off of that the duty cycle went up now. 126%.

Under user defined settings on the vcm scanner table you have to play with the voltage offset, my aem wb reads too high, so instead of volts/.5 +10 i set it to +9 volts

As for the a/f ratio error,
In the first section in your histo settings (plot value), select a/f error
Seecond tab under primary select maf output vs freq
Third section, col axis header, select a/f commanded

just make sure you tune your maf to the pe table.
you set them to desired afr then leave them alone. they do not get used for changing afr values.
if you do a search on the forum you will find the how to manually set the linear data of an auxiliary wideband sensors.

Be Sure you thank the tuning school for this information:

Some internet searching is saying that even though the Autometer guides say 0-4 volts, 10 to 16 AFR, that it is really 9.6 to 17.6 for accuracy. I changed my PID and hopefully that does it. We shall see after work I guess. I am reading the MAF tuning guide on redline forums now.
