    seperate PCM and TCM flashing

when is this going to be done?? it was talked about years ago

in the 2.24 there is problems on some 5 speed auto cars that HPT dosent support, it trys to pull the tune out of the TCM and fails so I have to go back to old versions of the software to stop it from happening which is a pain in the ass after a 20min read time..

why should we have to do that.. the "other" brand does separate flashing and its only since 2.24 that it has been a problem, install a 2.23 version and the problem goes away..

it's a bug in newer versions of 2.24, will be fixed soon. You guys will like 2.25's extra flexibility in this regard.

I'm simply providing a work around. The other brand also makes you actually license the TCM. With HP Tuners, I could connect 100 different TCMs to the same ECM and edit them all without ever buying a new license. It's tit for tat.

This should be fixed in the newest 2.24 build.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Also, 2.25 allows you to flash controllers separately.

Yay. It was mildly annoying waiting for newer TCMs to flash when there are no changes, even though it only adds about 40 seconds to flash times.

So do you mean we will not longer have to do a 'write all' but simply a 'calabration only' flash for PCM setting adjustments on the newer PCM's? What about for a transmission setting adjustment?
