    6.0l with upgrades tuning help

Almost there with my tune (I think) Here are my files:
    98Burb6.0l.hpl
    Default Imperial1.cfg
    Nov142013Burb.hpt

My idle is still choppy as you can see and it hesitates off the line - what suggestions does anyone have?

My set up is as follows:

    LQ4 - bored .10 over (Mahle -18 dish)
    LS6 cam - later version
    truck intake and TB
    LS2 injectors
    LS6 heads with yellow springs
    4L80E

    Thanks

Injector data is wrong. Your IAT is way high, something not right. And you never go into closed loop. Is the tune you posted the one run in the log?

Learn to use this google search function, it will help you a lot. Format is as follows

    site:hptuners.com ls2 injectors on ls1

    Will lead you to this........

Would I be better off putting the stock 6.0L injectors in the truck and using the stock tune?

Injectors are fine, you just have to put the right data in. Figure out why your iat shows over 300 degrees through your entire log. And why you dont go into closed loop, I could not see a reason in the tune you posted which is why I asked if it was the one you ran in the log.

Yes it was the same tune - I did just put the MAF back into the system and removed the SD tune because it would not run in cold weather.....I'll check that out.

I've never messed with injector data - is that the information in the Engine - Fuel - General portion of the editor?

just found out that the injectors that are in my engine are not as they seem, here is the info I found....

    LS2 Bosch injectors - 48lb/hr, 43.5 3 bar psi, 55 @ 4 bar

Not stock, these were for the FI setup a while back.....Now should I put the stockers in?

Not sure why you are calling them ls2 injectors...think I know what you have. Post the part number.

You do in fact have ls2 injectors, they flow 33.x #s. Follow the link I posted, there is tune posted part way through with correct data. Copy flow rate, offsets, pulse corrections, and limits from the fuel general tab into your tune. Are you running a fpr or fixed fuel pressure?

I'm running the stock truck fuel pump and fuel rail setup.

Out of curiosity I pulled the LS2 injectors and put in the stock 6.0l. Dumbed my tune down to a 2001 stock tune and ran it - It was a little rough cold, but after it warmed up it ran great! Here is the tune and log file...

Would there be any advantage to running the LS2 injectors for this setup?
