    downshift issues 2010 escalade 6.2

I was tuning my friends 2010 escalade when he brought up something he didn't like about the way it downshifts in tow haul or "special" mode. when you take your foot off the gas the vehicle downshifts for an engine braking effect, the problem is it will down shift at too high of speeds, it will downshift and rev up to 5000 rpm. it is very annoying. this is the first of the E38(I belive that's what its called) ecms ive been into so I don't know where to modify this, can anyone tell me what table im looking for?

my 2010 escalade does the same thing, I don't hate it, but it would be nice to bring it down a little bit.

you need to lower the downshift speeds at 0% TPS and the lower throttle positions.

I tried just lowering the speed in the lower TPS regions and it still got violent on the downshift crap, so now I copy and pasted the "normal map" to the "a map" and multiplied it by 10%.

I tried lowering the shift points and I also tried copy and pasting from the normal map with no change. It seems to be a logic in the OS as to how map a will shift.

would this change how map a shifts up and down, and what does each of the items in the drop down list do?
