need help tuning my afr
I just tried tuning my lq9 with ls3 heads and custom 226/232 115 lsa cam. I tried tuning the ve table with no luck. My afr gauge shows 12.8-13.0 right when startup and after idling a few second is starts to go lean at 16.0ish. Tried tuning the ve table but nothing. Are there any tables i should disable or something? Or why does my afr turn lean after a few seconds. Right now i have it on the stock tune.
Please i need help!
Thanks in advance!

Are you sure its not the air pump kicking in shortly after you start it to warm the O2 sensors? It will read lean until it shuts off for sure.

well, if you have in stock tune you will not gain anything if your VE is not your primary table. I would first Fail MAF completely then tune your VE. Older PCM's are better off MAFless.

Thank you for responding! It was my closed loop. Disabled it and everything seems to work fine. I will be disabling the maf and closed loop and tune my ve table now and later reenable it and tune that also. Oh, and what values do you put in the ve table? Lower or higher values for richer or leaner?

If it's lean then you need to put bigger numbers in.
