Connected AEM WB to EGR and need help setting up VCM Scanner to scan

I am trying to tie my AEM WB into my unused 5v EGR ref so I can use that for scanning. Has anyone done it? any write ups? tips? I also have to code disabled in the PCM will that mess with anything? I guess the biggest thing I really need to know is how to set it up in VCM Scanner.

I found a write up actually for an LS car but should be the same for us. Now just to figure out if the code being disabled is an issue.

Set code to no error reported. This way you will get your input from the WB and you wont have to look at an engine light while you tune.

Just search "Wideband through EGR" here and there is a ton of stuff here on it
