    Summit Shipping the "Beta" Version?

I have a several modified cars with GM drivetrains that my speed shop had tuned on HPT...
Now, I recently bought a full version from Summit of the "VCM Pro" so I can do a few modifications on my own.

Only, I just tried to install it and find that Summit shipped me a disk labeled "Beta". Who ships "Beta" code for money, especially when it crashes
immediately under Windows 8 Pro, which my laptop runs?

Has anyone else bought recently and gotten "beta" code and is anybody successfully running on Windows 8 with the current version from Summit?

Download & install software version 2.24 from your customer page www.hptuners.com/customers
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

I had no issues with running Beta on my Win8 machine. Even upgrading to 2.24 went without a hitch.

They likely have leftovers that were built months ago before 2.24, all new orders shipping from us come with 2.24
