    Stock 05 Mustang GT

New to Ford tuning. I know tuning a stock GM vehicle can add some HP. Is it the same for Ford or are they tuned aggressively form the factory?

Yes of course. The WOT lamda is fairly rich, and the timing table isn't aggressive at all. If you're running 91/93 octane instead of 87 you can pickup a fair amount of power. I ran E85 on both of my N/A 3v's with very good luck. I'd stick a tank of good fuel in it, and throw some timing at it. the knock sensors in those cars are very accurate.

A tune for 93 octane will generally gain 15 rwhp or so, but there are great improvements to throttle response, and transmission shifting.

Thanks for the reply's! So it's the same as stock LS vehicles. Add a little timing and clean up the rich PE tables from the factory.

Eric, I found your "How to tune you Mustang guide". Can I follow the steps from ETC Max throttle angle and on down? This is a daily driven car that I run 93 octane in and was just looking for a little more power.

Do the CAI's come with good MAF Airflow data or is this something I will have to log with scanner and my LM1?

Transmission shifting? Still waiting for Hp Tuners to add the missing tables to firm up the shifts of the 5R55 transmission.

Eric already has the files you sent, but thank you
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

I'm working on adding these now. Tell me the OS ID of the two cars you have there and get them done first, as it will take me a while to get it into every automatic Mustang OS.
