    TCC lock up...

ok guys. So ive been having trouble with my tcc after i put a new converter in. it will not lock up. it pulses when it should be locked, but it never fully locks. its really frustrating. im thinking there might be a mechanical problem. but im very new to hpt so im was hoping someone else could help? i have a log file you can see the TCC slip rate is very erratic when it should be locked. the pressurs is steady but lower than what it should be.. am i missing somthing?

Look at TCC in this file and copy and insert. Should command TCC to stop surge.

I would try with the regulator offset at 90 psi, and the regulator gain at 1.5.

Can't open your stock file. Your stock file is only 1.4 mb, and your TCC3 file is 3.6 mb.

What's your tire size? What converter did you put in the car?

Return all the TCC Pressure tables to stock, same for the TCC Adapt fields. I've found that raising the TCC apply ramp causes the TCC to pulse, and raising the Regulator Offset causes the TCC to lock before desired. I just set the TCC Desired Slip tables to 0 like you did, and the TCC will lock properly. Also max out the TCC WOT apply speeds

Can the yank 3600 tolerate lock up at full throttle?

There's a 6 speed auto trans spreadsheet here too... http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showth...n-spreadsheets

I've actually become more and more a fan of them since I've started using them...I usually start with this, and do some minor tweaking to things after I get numbers from these. Be sure you turn off WOT lockup if you use it.

Anyways, I think you may find if you put a lot of the tranny tune back to stock first, then use this, you may need to play with everything else a lot less.
