    gm 3.3 bar map

    so this is my first time tuning and as of now im gathering info, looking at other peoples tunes etc. what prompted me to try to figure out my own tuning is who i had paid to tune it claims that you cant use the 3.3 bar map since it is for a diesel and doesnt read vacuum. now everything i have read so far say that changing the offset at idle to read 100kpa is the solution. anyone have a run in w this?

    Most lack the proper map sensor data... that sensor wont read anything below 36.66kPa so on smaller cam cars it poses an issue of rich decel and light light throttle regions in SD.

    Proper data for that sensor is:

    v=5(0.003P-0.11)

    36.66kPa
    370kPa

    This is from the schematics on the OEM sensor.

    The linear value is actually 333.33kPa.

    That sensor is not linear in response.
