You need to email HPtuners support. Read the FAQ's. Link below... I'm sure the software asked to do the same.

Yeah the vin number KL1JF3589DK057126 is the issue, as all Chevy Cruze vin's start with 1G1 not KL1, we're working on a way to get it added but with our current database it would screw up our licensing. I was hoping it would be easy to add but unfortunately it was not so its just been sitting in our work in queue since the day you emailed. In any event I WILL email you the day an update becomes available.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

I have almost the same problem. my ecu is not supported because it is a European car. a normal buick Regal is not a problem . I was told it probably takes more than a year when it 's all about.

when a car is released with interest enough to have hpt unlock it, from the last couple years of watching things get added its about a year and a half to see the major issues completely worked out. that would include the adding of foreign models as well.
you cant take that info as a deadline though. hpt will have it done when they have it done. many people get super anxious and go to other companies for gm tuning then after the full release end up back at hpt saying i should have just waited.
Bill just said they would get it added so time to wait a bit.

Yeah ultimately for our licenseing to work the vin's have to be valid & entered into our database otherwise it breaks, mainly, our year/model licensing. We have a few things we could do to add workarounds for it but have, in the background, been working on improving our vin database structure so its less of an issue in the future rather than bandaiding the issue.
