I had to get a new ECM for my 01 corvette. I have a tune file for an 01 that I entered my vin into, can I do a write entire to get the computer in working order or will I have to have it programmed by scanner first.

Bump. About to attempt this on an '03 Silverado this afternoon. Anyone know the procedure for this if any?
