I am at good guys in indy trying to run my 55 chevy with a 4.8 and 4l60e at the auto cross and I need to keep the trans in manual second if I shift it into 2nd and once I get on it and down shifts to first every time.
First is original tune and 2nd is what we tried and when I get on the throttle it down shifts to 1st every time.
I wonder if there is a manual 2nd table we dont have access to. Try this and leave it in od. It will upshift to 2nd, but not higher and should not downshift until 1 mph. You may want to lower wot upshift speed, its 32, if you do a part throttle up shift like your log it will up shift much lower.
That worked great I changed the wot upshift to 10 it let me take of in first then shifted to second right away to make the tires stop spinning and stayed in second the rest of the track Thank you so much worked perfect.
