    06 roush mustang

i have a 06 roush mustang that was tuned with hptuners a few yrs ago but now the car runs like crap. trying to find someone in the el paso texas area that knows how to tune mustangs with hptuners.

Whats changed? Did it run fine for those few years?
There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies. The first method is far more difficult.

Need more information. What exactly is the car doing? Is it just low on power? Misfiring?

From a cold start it runs 12 on AFR. I drive it down the street and when i slow down it stalls. It has new plugs and good fuel pressure. Im thinking about just having roush reflashing the computer. I just dont know if i can send it or i have to have a tuner shop send it. Also thinking about trailering to another city close by so i can get it tuned. All tuner shops in el paso suck

I dont believe you can tune it via HP as the checksum applied from Roush will not be cleared by HP tuner. either deal with roush or get a new PCM

HPT can't fix checksum from Roush, right. But it's possible to fix this without change of PCM by reflashing this with same calibration from another car, then make install procedure like new PCM via IDS at dealer.

Anyone have a read from a Roush?

I have, but with checksum failed.
Anyway would be good to see tune even with checksum failed without possibility to change or write.
    Do you want such?

    No it has not.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
