2010+ Tuning or pre 05. Why has HP not moved forward?

I'm mostly curious. Why has HP not moved forward on FORD 10+ tuning? (Or pre 05 for that matter).

    There is a big market.

There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies. The first method is far more difficult.

not for a lack of trying but fords are a lot of work so we would rather hold off from supporting them until we have the manpower to do so.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Sure, but if you don't support them, no one will come.

The support is fine...for the platforms they support. Buying a software because of what you hope they'll support in the future is like marrying a woman because you hope she won't be a bitch in the future.

I would love if hpt would support the newer fords. I've got 2 2011 mustangs in the stable right now, a v6 and a 5.0. Both are currently tuned by Mr. Eric Brooks. He is the ONLY tuner that would touch either car. I don't have enough good things to say about him. Both are corn fed is the main reason that every other tuner was "afraid" of them...not Eric. He tackled them amazingly. The 5.0 is nearly as fast on a street tire this year, 11.8, as it was on a drag radial last year, 11.7.

Not saying I could tune better than Eric...I don't believe that for a second. I've got better than a handful of 9, 10, and 11 second ls cars to my name, along with a 400whp cobalt and a couple near 500whp cavaliers to my name, no where near the quantity that Eric tunes. I'm an automotive technician by profession, he's a tuner. I'm a tuner by hobby.

    We need 2011+ fords unlocked

I wish they would have included the 99-04 lightnings in the support, I have been tuning a turbo lightning with SCT. I can get by flashing with SCT but there scanner is awful.....The ability to use HPT's scanner would make life so much easier lol.
