    map sensor setup in scanner

    Hi everyone,
I am trying to get started on my first 2 bar sd tune, my problem is I can't get a map reading above 105 kpa even though it's boosting 8psi by my mechanical gauge. I'm sure it's something simple, but i'm stuck.
    Thanks for any help
    Al

are you talking about not being able to see a map reading in the VCM scanner? or in your tune?

I have a map reading in the scanner but it maxes out at 105kpa, even when boosting. I do have a 2 bar sensor in there,
I'm thinking I may have selected the wrong setting?

Hey Fullthrottle, thanks a lot for your interest and help, I figured it out, not exactly sure what was wrong but I loaded default settings and then added "pid" map 2 bar, then took it for a drive and bingo, it works and seems to be accurate according to the wastegate setting and autometer mechanical vacuum/pressure gauge.
