    Cam'd E38 guys

I'm in the process of tuning my z06 with ported/milled heads and cam(243/250 .64x/.64x 112+4). I had it maf only and got the fueling real close then switched over to speed density and i've been working with the bluecat software and almost got it dialed in. The car seems to run better overall in SD, not near as much surging, bucking down low etc.
So my question is, which do you guys prefer with similar setups, SD, Maf only or blended?

I prefer SD if you can, will run so much smoother and better engine response.

That's what i'm kind of leaning towards, I don't want to bother with getting the maf perfect if i'm just going to run SD in the end.

Ok, VE and MAF are dialed in real close (gonna finish on the dyno). One thing i'm not sure of is if I stab the throttle I get a big lean spike for a split second but if I roll into wot there's no lean spike (SD and Maf). Looking at the lean spike in the scanner the injector duty cycle doesn't dip down with it or look weird at all so i'm wondering if its a false reading or maybe my wideband is a little slow to react? Any ideas?

post file, if bucking is your only concern then its timing issues.

Why not adjust the transient throttle settings?

I havent played with any of those yet, just thought it was weird having a big lean spike on the wideband when the injector duty cycle didnt skip a beat, making me think its a false reading.

I don't find my cammed E38 LS3 to be any smoother in SD/MAF or blended. Can't feel a throttle response difference either. Does seem to fuel the most consistently when blending though.
