2002 impala starts for a few seconds then dies

We received a customer car that had a new ignition put into it, it didn't crank, only when you disconnected the battery for awhile and retried to start it, then it'd crank.

So I used two credits to try and "disable" the VATS system, but for the particular car there isn't a "disable" option, Only Serial and PWM. What does PWM stand for?

Am I stuck with two wasted credits on this car? How can I get it to start and stay running?

It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Google GM VATS Relearn Procedure and do it. Takes about 30 minutes to complete.

got the car to start by using the PWM feature on HPT, now the security light, battery, and service engine light stay on. Also, the radio and A/C doesn't work, and it did before. What could be the cause?

i disabled P1630 for Theft Deterrent Learn Mode Active, and set to No Error Reported. And did the same for P1631 for Theft Deterrent Start Enable Signal Not Correct. Will this solve my problem?

disabling the two other codes didn't help. the Service Engine Soon Light, Battery, and Security light flashes randomly disabling the radio and A/C. I tried shutting off the vehicle, opening the door and restarting the car and it seems to disable the three lights. Any imput on this?
