    E38 Ls7 A6 Operating system Question.

    I have a 1940 truck a customer of mine brought me to tune. Looks like Steet and performance stuff. coil uld not unlock it. So I put a new pcm in it. Reflash to same vin in the oil unit 2010 zo6. Pulled the complete file out with hp. Modified theif system so it would start. would not reflash the tcm unless I full rewrite it. Now trans stuck in 3rd and is cm has communication codes. The TCM is flash as a 2010 truck trans. will that model communicate with the PCM? or am I suppost to do something different?

    try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes.
    It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
