Thread: Lean transition into PE and lean spot during WOT

    Anyone still having issues, even with desoot mode disabled?

    I always seem to have a lean spike between 2500rpm - 3000rpm and need to fudge my MAF and VVE to improve it.
    Usually E67 LSA engines with large cam and injectors. WOT fuel will be 11 - 11.5 and lean spike goes to 13.0.
    Played with transients as well with no notable improvement.

    Just when stomping throttle at these rpm points? If your only having this issue with cams, then injection timing and VE, especially if boost has been turned up...

    When entering into a wide open run, will go into PE at 2000rpm and sit about 11.5 AFR, then at 2500 - 3000 goes lean. At first I thought it was just my wideband was
    playing up, but you can see it in the IPW. Ill play abit more with my injection timing, like i said i can improve it with VE but I end up with a big bulge in that area.

    It's injection timing, fuel pressure, voltage injector setting, iat multiplier, map multiplier or something like that then... I had a set of bosch 80lbers with unknown injector data a long while back that had this same problem with a cam - wound up retarding injection timing 15 degrees and fixed it, but it still wasn't perfect...
