    almost there

Is anyone willing to give me some feedback on my tune. I posted before and got some help on tuning fuel trims and timing, and I think i got that fixed. Truck is running better than ever! MAF isnt quite done but heres the file as it stands now.

the timing values look all messed up, kinda odd numbers. PE is also kinda screwy.

I got those timing values by the Max torque table, thats mainly the top half of the table, its smoothed over a bit, and since this file I have subtracted 1* from the whole table. How should I go about setting this table up right? What are some good tips to follow?

the timing just seems very high in the low load cells and then it drops off too fast IMO. the PE you want to be slightly rich, about 0.3 points and then start to lean out after peak torque adn then go slightly rich at your redline. tune your ve correctly so you dont have to fudge pe numbers

I'll work on the timing a bit, the VE is dead on, only thing I am still really working on is the MAF curve, its taking awhile on that one. I'll have to get a wideband to work on the PE, but i can richen it up some until then.

you want to tune the VE in the high map areas so you dont ahve to have ratios which are varying a whole lot. instead of having 1.2 something in the PE the areas of wot should be richened for that rpm. if you get what im saying?

yeah i got it, I'll work on it some this weekend if i get a chance. Do you have an example of a timing chart, I am trying to get this timing thing nailed down before I go any further.

i would use a table similar to the z06. the heads are a better design but it would be a good start with that cam in there.
