My timing is only hitting 35*, no higher. Why

This is on my Blazer, Vortec 5.7 and 411 PCM. I am trying to increase the timing but nothing is changing in my logs. I can add 10* to the HO Spark table, LO spark table, idle in drive, and idle in park spark tables and I see no difference. Timing advance remains around 35* at my normal driving range. I don't see anything in my tune that could be subtracting timing... One thing I am wondering is if my manual transmission is making it act funny for some reason. The computer is out of an automatic but my truck is manual. I did my best to change things to make it a manual tune but maybe I am missing something.

Why is my timing staying the same?
Is my transmission affecting it somehow? Does this look right as far as transmission settings go?

Your running an sd tune and you are still plotting maf. Delete your maf pids and try scanning again. See what that shows.

Here you go, I tried that but nothing changed. This is weird. I wonder what it's even going off of right now to get the numbers of 35? I also just noticed that 35 is the highest it hits. Is this some kind of limit maybe? I could try pulling a bunch of timing just to see if it actually does affect it.

Have you tried under Main Spark Advance>Max Speed, raising the speed to something higher than 25mph? Like 256? Max torque timing is at 39. Not recommended changing that table, but that minus some modifiers might be capping your max timing.

Just tried that but it did not change anything. I am still maxing out at 35 degrees. I can't find anything that would be limiting it, but I am not as smart as most of you.

I commanded up to 38 degrees in the scanner while idling and it went all the way as I kept clicking it up higher. It's capable of going up there, just don't know why it wont do it by itself.

log cam offset. if its off by 4 degrees and your max timing is 39 then that would limit it.
My setup is a 356ci with a 260/268 (212/218 at .050 lift) duration cam with aluminium corvette heads and flat top pistons running 11.3 comp. ratio. with tuned port injection and vortec crank pick up and dizzy running a 411 pcm and 60lb bosch injectors, 1.6 ratio roller rockers. For transmission its a 4l65e built with the monster in a box mega ss kit. All in a 92 chevy ext cab 4x4 pickup with a 98 cab now installed with a third door! running only e85
