    2.5 bar os

I have a 2001 c5 and i want to upgrade to 2.5 map sensor with companion os but my latest version of hp tuners offers only 2 and 3 bar. if i install 3 bar i worry about less resolution, if i install 2 bar i worrry about loss of .5 bar on my map sensor. I both cases i want to run the maf to the limit this includes any patch to increase to 15000-hz limit also there is no patch showing in os options.

    What do i do

If you insist on going SD just do a 3 bar and you can still use a 2 bar sensor or 2.5 bar, since you manual enter the MAP values.

I like scaled MAF tunes with larger inlets myself.

    A 50% scaled tune will support 1000hp

I've never seen any resolution effects (technically it shouldn't be as good, but that's not what I've experienced).

a lot of people will say why scale ifr tables maf tables this table that table you end up scewing everything to make inadequate computer work for the application, why not just go s.d. and do it right from the beginning (Bill hp tuners) but I like maf sensor just as you do so it brings the question pro/con of each and best way to get there. I am not familiar with scalling so can I get a primer somewhere

The computer is not inadequate, don't know where you got that info from? SD will never be as accurate IMO, plus on a scaled tune you can have a increased spark table. I do SD only at customers request and I usually talk them out of it.
