    surging idle

Idle surges. I lowered the idle spark range 1 degree and reduced over and underspeed tables. anything else that can cause a 1000 rpm surge?

Seems to be over reacting looking at the log. reference the end of log when idling stopped.

It also idles high coming to a stop but the drops rpms low when stopped and in park surges 1000 rpm

    any help would be appreciated.

try this .under boost enrichment turn it up to like 105 kpa .i say this because you are idling around this 90 kpa so i think it is throwing in extra fuel at this mark ..you might also wanna check into why you only have 12.3 to 12.5 ignition volts hth

Yeah i argued that with one of my buddies that has some tuning experience. I agree with that i think i will stick it at 105kpa . Hmm voltage i havent looked at since its getting atleast 12 volts. why would 12.5 volts pose any issues?

Fueling can be altered by voltage, the lower the voltage the richer it gets. It is referenced off the fuel injector tables battery offset vs volts vs vac

that is correct thank you ben charles.... plus i feel if the car is running you should have atleast 13.2 volt min when ruuning 13.8 to 14.2 is right on the money imo hth

That's understandable and will definitely be checking into it.
*Update* After steadily going through every table related to idle I started to move fueling around and with this big cam I needed a very lean fuel mixture to idle right. I leaned it to 16.5 in all idle points in the ve table, and it idles super smooth and zero surge now. Heck even smells better lol.

Im amazed it idles so smooth but choppy at the same time. Thanks for your help pointing out the voltage though as that's definitely something I need to diagnose.

Most big cams do like to run leaner than stoich.
