    2.2 & 2.4 Fuel Injector Calibrations

This is for anyone who has a 2.2 or 2.4 Ecotec that shares the same ecu as the 2007 models found in the cobalt/hhr fuel injection calibration spreadsheet. Similar to the lsj spreadsheet in design so it still remains easy to use.

Tab 1> Injector Dynamics 725cc data
    Tab 2> GM 42 lb/hr data
    Tab 3> Seimens 60 lb/hr data

more tabs to come as i plot the data for Injector Dynamics 850cc and 1000cc Injectors.

thank you so much! I just got 60's and its a little annoying to tune with stock offset table

i had a special request from another user who is starting a set of 60's next week and i had a car come to me with ID725cc and so i gathered some data with some help and put it together for others to use if they wish. I should have the rest of the Injector Dynamics data assembled by end this weekend.

awesome thanks again! I know it's off topic but I'm right about to switch from 93 top E85 on my 60's, I should use these values then just maf tune correct? No modifications to the injector data from switching fuel?

half correct. this ecu calibration has a ve fuel base table. they must be properly calibrated for E85 to run correctly. also you will have to do a pump E85 separation test to see exactly how accurate the fuel in the pump is. this will help determine your Base AFR Ratio for Stoich.

since i have to guess your model doesnt have the alcohol sensors to use a properly calibrated content scale; once you find the correct percentage of ethanol your particular area is being supplied with you will have to populate every cell in the stoich afr table to be the same.

use the excel file to match the actual percentage of ethanol to the proper stoich afr.

after properly ve tuning then yes you would move on to maf tuning and finally be complete after optimizing power output with a dynamometer.

    *Update*

Added Injector Dynamics Values for 825CC / 78.6lb/hr injectors. If you are running any injector size over 80 lb/hr you will have to scale tables in order to get past the injector multiplier limit of 2.0.
if your fuel injector flow rate is over 63 lb/hr and your injector multiplier is already at 2.0...well that's what i mean by you will have to scale. If you need to scale it is highly recommended to read the scaling article that is mentioned at injector dynamics website.

apologies for bumping an old thread.

looking at the spreadsheet and the labels in my tune they are not the same for the x axis.

the e37 table x axis is pressure differential and in the p12 they are in manifold kpa

do these calculated values account for this?

    lsj labes in kpa: -120,-114,-108,-101,-95,-89,-83,-76,-70,-64,-58,-51,-45,-39,-33,-26,-20,-14,-8,-1,5,11,18,24,30,36,43,49,55,61,68,74,80

    my le5 lables in kpa:128,144,160,176,192,208,224,240,256,272,288,30 4,320,336,352,368,384,400,416,432,448,464,480,496, 512,528,544,560,576,592,608,624,640

Btw thanks for all the work youve done
