Qustion on making a gear/tire size change (Final Drive Ratio Err)

    2013 Camaro SS 6L80

I changed my gears from 3.27 to 4.11 and tire size from 27.8 to 30.0 and hit auto scale. After it stopped calculating, the Final Drive Ratio Err changed from 1.0 to 4.11. Does anyone know why? Does it need to be changed back to 1.0? Thanks

No, thats right. Gear ratio is saved in several places, ecm and tcm. Not all are used or relevant. GM tends to be lazy and just have valid data in places that count. HP Tuners was just trying to be proactive and have actual data in all the places, if maters or not.

Thanks BlueCat. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't a problem with the software or that I was doing something wrong.
