I would like to know about this option.
After about 10 seconds of full throttle suddenly I do see a lot of spark retard and an enrichment which jumps up from 13 AF to 10.5 AF.
I suppose I do see the COT protection?
How do the ECU estimates the cat temperature?
It is advisable to disable this option?
I also saw an option called piston protection. How does this work? I can't see any adjustments there, only the rpm on which the protection does start.
Maybe I can put the value more high to disable the piston protection?
What could happen then?
Older engines never had piston protection.
