Purchased a used package with 2 credits left. Of course, when I go to the hptuners website to download the software, it says my serial/key is already registered.
What's the procedure to re-register the key to myself and/or get around this?

I am not sure why someone with greater credentials than I couldn't help you with this issue.
You need to contact the person you purchasd HPT from, and ask them to send their serial number and password that is associated with the interface.
If the seller dosen't want to give you his password, ask him to login and change the password then send the info to you.

Lol I am having the same issue but my seller is not responding to me anymore, I even have the email from HP Tuners that they sent him for the 2.24 update.
