The current plan is E38 (about halfway thru), E67, E78 (complete), E39 (complete). I can do E40 as well if people want it.

I asked support@HPT a couple months ago "On there site it said that they can't read your COS because it's locked but that theirs is not locked just that HPT does not recognize their OS.

How about using HPT to run the E85 tables like them could that be done? There is a wire that I hooked up almost 3 years ago into the ECM that when grounded(or install an actual E85 sensor) you run off the E85 tables or combination thereof."

And was told "We have no plans to add additional features to our custom operating systems."

Glad I don't have to switch it now that I removed the nitrous and installed twins on the Camaro. DSteck, I switched to the 2.5Bar COS and used the ZR-1 MAP sensor per your recommendation. I want to use the E-85 tables to adjust timing and fuel when the methanol spray. Can that be done?

Yes, you can. I'm not sure how well the fuel will work unless you have an alcohol PE table.

Chris, I wouldn't bother with E40/E67 until somebody finds the pin. Lol.

I would assume its much easier to try to add them now while everything is fresh, I think its only a few constants & switches which if the locations are similar are usually pretty easy to add since he's already mapped them on a bunch of the master files. If it overkill now its simply future proofing
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

For the fuel side I was thinking of adjusting the stoich since methanol's is different and pulling some fuel since some is coming from the methanol.

Do I have to have the latest version 2.24 for this as I am still on the beta? Also, I was using the normal tuning but recently had a shop make me a safe 10psi tune but switched to the 2.5 bar COS. I did not know I had to buy more credits since upgrading to a COS on the other software did not require that. Currently I can't make any adjustments to the tune. Anyways, how many more credits do I need to buy?

The tables are in the stock code, no custom operating system is required. The only thing that is requires is the newest public software version 2.24.61 or newer.

OK. So I have to upgrade from the Beta then. The switch to the COS was based on Dave's recommendation as it is the correct way to do things and you get better fan controls etc.

BTW, ever since the turbos went in the tranny shifts a whole lot softer but the tranny side was not touched by the tuner. What could be causing it? Is the incorrect tq being used?

Just got 2 more credits so I should be able to make changes now.

Thanks Chris! This is a huge help as these tables can be utilized on nearly every power adder vehicle! Thanks a bunch for the awesome support!

I got actual flex fuel working. The pigtail that was on the original sensor I bought had the wiring colors wrong, and instead of wiring it according to pin location like I should have, I took the lazy way and assumed that purple, pink, and white were proper. A quick pin swap fixed it. Either way, I'm running a brand new GM sensor now too.

Looks like pump gas is about 8% ethanol.

I am also looking for the pin, and having a problem finding wiring for the e67 ecu with flex fuel sensor to wire a actual sensor in for e85 use.

If somebody lets me borrow a E67, I'll find it manually.
