Licence for files from repository

I´m about to tune a 2007 duramax truck for a friend, I´ve forgot how the licensing works.
I know I have to buy licence (2 credits?) for the stock tune.
But if I want to test any of the files from the files repository, do I need to buy licence for these files also?

If you try to load the Repo tune yes.
But if you open the stock to and then compare the Repo tune you can copy over the differences.

Exactly. Dont load somebody elses tune into your ECM/TCM. Instead, use the compare feature to copy over the changes into your original file (save a copy).
