I need a PCM for a LBZ to LB7 swap that I am doing and I found a decent deal on one but it is already tuned with EFI Live.
Can I read this with HP Tuners or is it locked?
Anyone have any experience with this?

Could go either way, if its a custom operating system our software might be able to read it but likely won't be able to open the file.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Thanks Bill!
I'm guessing worst case if I can't read it I can do a write entire with stock software and go from there?
Worst case would be a tunerlocked pcm which cannot be read or written to not even by a gm dealer flash tool.

Huh thats good to know. I always thought any PCM could be over-written with a write-entire as long as it was in working condition.

Tunerlocked means its locked, no read no write.

I currently have an EDGE EVO RACE tuner. I have changed the tune in several different levels with HP TUNERS. Can I just set the EDGE on level 1 and use HP tuners to change to different tune levels and still plug the EDGE back in to monitor functions?
Thanks

Yes you can use the Edge as a monitor only and make your tuning changes with HPT.
