The 04 GTO is a 1mb calibration. The 02 is a 512kb calibration. They do not interchange.

It might be different in the states, but an '04 Monaro (GTO) is 512Kb (0411) whereas '05 went to 1024Kb (P59).
That said, I can't really see the advantage of a GTO OS over a Camaro. Out of interest why do you believe it will be easier with the GTO OS?
They only got the later model/update monaro's over there so they are running the 1mb systems.
Give it a go yourself first, if it doesnt work out then pay someone.
