MAF possible with 2 bar tune?

The vehicle is my wife's 2001 Yukon. Combo is an L33 5.3 with a small cam(216/224 .551/.551 115 LSA), and a MP112 Magnacharger with a 3.4" pulley. About 8 pounds of boost. This setup came out of my truck, but formerly had a 2.8 pulley, 92mm throttle body, headers/ORY, etc, and a MAFless 2 bar tune.

Now it's back to manifolds & cats, and a stock throttle body. I want to run the MAF because this vehicle will be towing a trailer through the mountains, and will likely also travel the Alcan highway.

Right now I have it running the MAF sensor on a 2 bar tune. But I'm having a really hard time with inconsistent fueling. The PCM commands PE when I want it to. It commands BE when I want it to. But my actual AFR often times will not achieve the desired AFR. Sometimes it's just fine, and other times it stays lean.

Should I give up on this and just put the 1 bar MAP sensor back in, and run on a 1 bar MAF tune?

Bill emailed me explaining that a MAF was never intended to be used on the custom 2 bar OS, and if I intend to use a MAF, he recommended not using the custom 2 bar OS.
