Tuner Lock

Well got a call from a guy i had done some work on their car tuning, he called and said his file was locked i have never locked any vcm files ever.

So i get laptop out and every file appears to be locked, not sure why so my understanding is you just click Auto lock all to unlock ?? and save ?? Have done this several times with no luck to unlock my files, do i need to be connected to a car i do have cable attached but not to car ???

But files will not unlock any help would be great thanks

set it so it no longer tunerlocks all files, then you need to go into each individual file & unlock the ones you want unlocked.

so just click on (tuner lock all ) and it should no longer lock files ?

But when i do that then i save the file and do it individually close the vcm suite go back in they are locked again ??

The files themselves will stay locked until you go in an unlock them.

guess you need to be attached thou i went threw the files and unlocked them all saved everytime then closed suite then open it back up and then the showed locked again i will try it while attached to vehical thank you for your time

Nope, no connection necessary to unlock a file.
