If the vehicle is equipped with Stabilitrac (traction control) - then there should be an ON / OFF button for this - just below the HVAC controls.

i have 2 traction control , 1 with button & 1 without button , its come on dashboard when the car slip even i off traction

Just Keep pressing on the traction control button for few seconds and it will disable the stability control too and will show that on the display.

on my 2010 silverado, i have to pull the number 9 fuse {abs} this gets around it 100%. downside to that, you lose the abs all together.

if you hold in the traction control button (under the hvac controls) for 5 seconds it will shut off both traction control and stabillitrack.

now, go play around in the rain. go half to 3/4 throttle in first around a corner. listen and feel what happens. stabilitrak kicks in.

a way around it without pulling a fuse. shut them both off. {indicated} go wot.
